Dear Friends/Family/Boogie Bash™ Attendees,
The Society for Injured Riders (SIR)™ want to extend our thanks to the Residents, Community Members and Business Owners of Kootenay Boundary Region for supporting us when we host our Annual Event, Boogie Bash™, at the Rock Creek Fairgrounds on the B.C. Civic long weekend. Since 2007, we have been coming to Rock Creek to put on Boogie Bash™.
We are reaching out to you to garner written support to be included with our application to the Rock Creek and Boundary Fall Fair Association to host Boogie Bash™ at the Rock Creek Fall Fairgrounds on the B.C. Civic Long Weekend.
Annually, the Society for Injured Riders (SIR)™ must apply to host Boogie Bash™ with the Rock Creek and Boundary Fall Fair Association and its Board of Directors. This year we are requesting not only to host the event at the Fairgrounds but are seeking a three-year contract so we can continue with the ongoing planning year after year which will ensure the event, and the Kootenay Boundary Region, are marketed accordingly.
With each new year the price of everything is climbing and this definitely cuts into the funds we use to assist downed riders. Our society is run by volunteers and the Board of Directors are not paid. We are all of the same mindset volunteering hundreds of hours each year, to be able to help downed riders.
It is important that the Society for Injured Riders (SIR)™ be there to assist injured riders throughout the year. Each year, we help individuals from all over British Columbia and in various cases across Canada. Ensuring support is available for injured riders after an accident is reassuring to both the individual and the families affected.
We look forward to hosting the Boogie Bash™ Event at the Rock Creek and Boundary Fall Fairgrounds and ask for your written support to assist us with our application to the Rock Creek and Boundary Fall Fair Association.
To show your support please fill out the form on the Society for Injured Riders (SIR)™ website or fill out the attached document and email to info@S-I-R.ca
Thank you in advance for considering this request.
