May is Motorcycle Awareness Safety Month
The Society for Injured Riders (SIR)™ is a not-for-profit society staffed solely by volunteers. We are a group of volunteers promoting safe riding and committed to assisting riders who have been injured by a motorcycle accident.
With the arrival of warmer and drier weather, motorcycle enthusiasts are preparing their bikes by fine-tuning engines and polishing chrome, ready to embark on scenic rides.
May is Motorcycle Awareness Safety Month. Each day in May, safety awareness tips will be posted for motorcycle riders, passengers, and vehicle drivers. No single post prioritizes safety more than another. Each one is designed to help us with aspects of riding or driving that we may overlook. We all have families and loved ones to return to each day, and if any of the tips can help us achieve that, it is a valuable contribution.
