Boogie Bash™

Boogie Bash™ Cancellation for 2026

It’s been some time since we last updated you from Boogie Bash™ and the Society for Injured Riders (SIR)™. We continue to cherish the wonderful memories of Boogie Bash™, and so much has happened in recent months that it’s challenging to capture it all.

We regret to announce that there will be no Boogie Bash™ in 2026. This was not an easy decision.

We have proudly hosted Boogie Bash™ at the Rock Creek and Boundary Fall Fairgrounds since 2007, and we are grateful for the many successful years of partnership. The event's success is a testament to their support. However, due to increased security demands from the local RCMP and rising costs, we have made the difficult choice to cancel the 2026 event. We explored relocating to other venues, but unfortunately, this is not feasible for the coming year.

We fully appreciate what Boogie Bash™ means to everyone and how it serves as a much-needed recharge during the August long weekend. The friendships, music, motorcycles, and sense of community created over this weekend are truly transformative and inspiring.

Since its inception in 1987, Boogie Bash™ has seen its share of highs and lows, but the constant has always been our Boogie Bash™ family. Whether gathering at the Boardwalk in Kelowna, 8 Mile Ranch, the Dust Bowl, or Rock Creek Fairgrounds, attendance has varied, yet our family has always been the heart of this event.

Regardless of the weather—rain, sun, wind, or even snow—Boogie Bash™ has been your go-to event for the August long weekend. Whether you’ve been with us from the start or joined recently, we sincerely thank you for being part of our family.

Please note that while Society for Injured Riders (SIR)™ is not hosting Boogie Bash™ in 2026, Boogie Bash™ remains a Registered Trademark owned by SIR. No organization, business, or person may use the name Boogie Bash™ in Canada. You can find a link to the trademark on our website at www.boogiebash.com.

If you have questions about the cancellation or the trademark, please reach out to us at info@boogiebash.com or info@s-i-r.ca, or leave a message at 778-692-2274.

This was the hardest decision the Board of Directors has had to make, and we want to emphasize that it was made with heavy hearts. We deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support. Once again, thank you for standing by us.

Sincerely, The Board of Directors.

About Us

The Society for Injured Riders (SIR)™ is a not-for-profit society staffed solely by volunteers.

We are a group of volunteers promoting safe riding and committed to assisting riders who have been injured by a motorcycle accident. We do this by way of holding a number of events throughout the year to raise funds, as well as the funds we raise through membership.

One does not have to be a rider, to be a member in order to support the Society.
