Father's Day Weekend Poker Run

We want to say a big thank you to all of you for Supporting the Society for Injured Riders (SIR)™, greatly appreciated.

To all participants who joined the ride, the weather conditions were favourable until we reached Rock Creek, where they deteriorated somewhat. We encountered hail near Beaverdell, but eventually, the weather improved, and it became sunny by the time we returned to Kelowna. Overall, the day was reasonably successful despite some challenges.

The Winners

The Low Card Winner (Value $75) was won with 2 Spades, 3 Hearts, 8 Hearts, 4 Hearts, and 6 Clubs won by Richard Robbins who then donated $35 back to the Society. Thank you, Richard.

The High Card Winner (Value $150) was won with Ace Clubs, King Spades, King Clubs, 4 Hearts, and King Diamonds won by Dennis Carr - Dad.

Runner Up’s for High Hand were Nicole Beaumont had 3 6's, Dennis Carr had 3 5's, Linda Jackson had 3 Q's, Brad Baldwin had 3 10's which were close but no luck. However, Darin Hitchman needed to pull a 9 or Ace at the Packing House Pub to go with his 9 Spades, Ace Diamonds, 9 Hearts and his other Ace of Diamonds but he drew a 7 Diamonds instead, no luck Darin.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Lisa and Ron Mills for their leadership of our group today. We greatly appreciate them taking on this responsibility at the last minute.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Konquer Motorcycles, A & W Summerland, CO-Op Gas Bar Osoyoos, Prospector Pub Rock Creek, and the Packing House Pub, Kelowna. We greatly value your hospitality.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation for your participation in the poker run and your support in raising funds for the Society for Injured Riders (SIR)™.

The next event the Society for Injured Riders (SIR)™ will be hosting is  Boogie Bash™.  Hope to see you all there August 1 - 4, 2025.  Visit www.BoogieBash.com for more details.
