Where to start....

My passion for the Society for Injured Riders (SIR) and Boogie Bash came from my mom (Wilma Vanlerberg) and my Brother(Andrew Kucera).  My time with Boogie Bash started with just helping out a with Wilma in the office then with Andrew with set up and tear down.  Then with SIR Coralee somehow roped me onto the Board of Directors and it has been downhill ever since .LOL  Not really...

Most everyone usually sees me running in one direction to the other whether it is a SIR event or Co-Chairing our main event Boogie Bash.  Someone said to me recently you need to slow down and take a breath, I said why I don't think I have that many left I want to use them for what I am passionate about and that right now is helping raise funds for injured riders and their families.  I was asked once so what do you ride?  I laughed... said I enjoy 4 wheels going fast, NHRA is more my speed.  A dream would be to race one day but I will just borrow my sons truck and practice with that every once and while, he won't mind will he? 

When I found I have Terminal Bone cancer (Multiple Myeloma) in 2016 they gave me 3-5 years to live, I think we can all say I have proved them wrong and continue to do so every day. I enjoy each day to its fullest with a great drink of top shelf rye every now and then.

Life is too short, live like each day like it is your last and do what you are passionate about.
